petit morpho is a little place for every Customer/ Visitor to stop by to have a relax and enjoyable time!

Our Mission is to make a unique, fun and casual place to visit - a place where you can brush up your Beauty Sense from the petit exhibition and what we displayed!!

We also help and offer a great Platform for the New, Talented, Potential Handmade Artists to show their Artworks from holding the petit exhibitions.

現地作家さんの他、海外や日本国内の消しゴムはんこ作家さんが活動しています。

店内では、現地や海外からの作家さんの個展や企画展を開催するなど、 楽しくかわいいスタンプを追及する場所を目指して、日々奮闘中です。

その他に、実績のあるクリエーターさんによるおしゃれなファッションアイテムや小物作品なども日々紹介しております！展示販売やワークショップへにもどうぞお気軽に遊びに来てください！

Ms. Shizue Takehara is the founder of petit morpho

She has a passion in paper-crafting and loves to appreciate the beauty of EVERYTHING!

She loves Rubber Stamps, so you can mainly find a variety of Rubber Stamps specially selected by her all over the world from the Rubber Stamps Artists/Designers, and also from her home-country (Japan).

She noticed that there is no such a place offering what she needs in Hong Kong, especially in the Central District. For her interests, she founded the first petit shop in Hong Kong.

Besides Rubber Stamps, she also loves beautifully-made fashion, and goodies created by potential designers. From year 2010' she will add some "Fashion element" by introducing selected Creators coping with a famous gallery in Japan. She is gradually turning petit morpho as "a platform of introducing a high quality handmade" to everyone in Hong Kong.

petit morpho is a very very little office + shop, taking a good care by the Owner.

We try our best to satisfy each Customer their needs, but sometimes we are not able to deal with each Customer when the shop is too crowded (* three Customers in the shop is our "maximum" number).

We prefer to give a plenty of space and time for each Customer to select their favourites, that's the reason to control the flow of the Customers coming in, we will probably request you to visit in 15-30 minutes later, so here we'd like to apologized if this situation happened.

If you are seeking the place / platform to earn your Portfolio(s) by holding a petit-scale exhibition, please submit the followings to exhibition@petitmorpho.com for consideration.

1. Pictures of at least (10-15) works that cover the breadth of your artistic output, but focuses on your most recent works.

2. A brief artistic statement explaining your artistic perspective and influences.

3. It would be very nice if you provide us your website, or any picture albums for references.
